Despite the drastic reduction of contributions by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the crisis period, which closed many funding opportunities, CIRSES continues to develop research in the areas of interest linked to its mission and know-how of its Members and staff, self-financing its scientific work.

Among the most important activities developed in the last years, there are two research: Transessualism and Transgenderism and Evaluation of territorial networks (Valutazione delle reti territoriali) - ISFOL.
