Because the current teaching of entrepreneurship is not yet sufficiently integrated in secondary and higher education institutions' curricula, From Idea to Enterprise aims at transferring ResEUr training and certification program which covers all the key aspects that are associated with essential considerations upfront the process of the creation of a new enterprise, as well as with boosting the innovation power of existing companies.

Started in November 2012, From Idea to Enterprise is a 2 year-long project, funded by the Leonardo da Vinci under Lifelong Learning Program, with activities planned throughout 6 different European countries: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Italy and Portugal.

The SKillsUP project

SKILLS-UP - Enhancing of teachers and trainers in developing, improving and evaluating key competences and soft skills for students' and trainers' success and mobility in the labour market   is a Leonardo da Vinci - Transfer of Innovation project started on October 2012 and ended on October 2014.

The  SKILLS-UP  project is based on the results of the project  “Competencies for the Labour Market”,  which consist of a set of training tools and methodologies concerning 14 basic soft skills and competences for  trainers and teachers .

Prior to developing the 14 training sets/kits, extensive research was done surveying thousands of small and medium enterprise employers, key-actors in the labour market as well as in-depth desk top research. The training kits include material ranging from methodological aspects to training and teaching, to use of tools and assessment.Any teacher or trainer undergoing this training is certified to use the training kits hence, establishing and guaranteeing quality in delivery.

The RELOAD Project

RE.LOAD -  Laboratories for REcovery and deepening of Learning Or Aimed at Deconstructive/ transitional  approaches to student's vocational guidance is a Leonardo-TOI project aimed to transfer a good practice. It stems from the successful ESF-ROP-funded action-research initiative carried out in Lombardy between 2005 and 2007: NETWORKING FOR EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING SUCCESS. ORGANIZATIONAL MODELS, TOOLS AND METHODOLOGIES –(Regional Operating Programme. Ob.3, Action C1). The outcome of the initiative was the acronymed “LARSA” labs: “Laboratori di Approfondimento, Recupero e Sviluppo degli Apprendimenti” (Laboratories for further developing, consolidating, enhancing and re-triggering learning processes in 14-to-18 year-olders).

Work-Harmony Project

The Leonardo da Vinci – TOI proposal "Work Harmony -  Organizational Model and Methodology for Promoting the Conciliation of Worker’s Professional and Personal Lives in Enterprise"was  aimed at adapting and transferring the results achieved by the IMPLANTA project, which was developed in Spain in the framework of the EQUAL programme – axis 4 “Equal Opportunities” from 2005 to 2008.

The main goal of the Implanta Good Practice was the creation, testing and implementation of “new organizational models” of work and social structures favouring work-life balance for women, taking into account their private and family life needs to develop work/family reconciliation policies.

The EURIALO Project

Starting from the Good Practice "Different in more Ways Than One" carried out in previous TRIANGLE project, Handbook and 9 Theme guides (Maps) made available to teachers/educators, psychologists, counsellors, and social workers working with the youth, the project EURIALO -  LEarning and gUidance tools against discRIminAtion:  respect for alL different sexual chOices and cultural identities aims at updating and adjusting the contents of such BP, by focusing on the needs of teachers, trainers, psychologists, and counsellors working in high schools (with young boys and girls aged between 14 and 20), or in social/healthcare agencies (e.g. family advisory centres).

The Project aims at transferring the updated and adjusted product to a significant number of organisations that might be interested in field testing the BP.
